ביום חמישי 16.2.23 נערך בבית המועצה לישראל יפה, טקס המסכם את תחרות תעשיה יפה ומקיימת בישראל יפה שנערכה זאת השנה ה – 42, במסגרתו הוענקו אותות ותעודות כוכבים בנושאי איכות חיים וסביבה למפעלים וחברות מצטיינות. פרסום מטרת התחרות היא לשפר את סביבת העבודה לעובדים בתעשייה הישראלית ואת היחס של המפעלים לסביבה והקיימות באזורים בהם הם פועלים. בנוסף, נבדקים המפעלים על הפעילות הקהילתית אשר עושים למען הקהילה. בתחרות השתתפו כ- 140 מפעלים וגני תעשייה מרחבי הארץ, שעמלו במהלך השנה על מנת לעמוד בקריטריונים.
אנו גאים לעדכן כי גם אתר ברורים וגם המפעל בשדרות זכו בהכרה של המועצה לישראל יפה, בתחרות 5 כוכבים.
האתר בברורים, התמודד גם על תחרות דגל היופי, וזכה גם בתחרות זו. מדובר בהכרה במחויבות שלנו לשלושה נושאים חשובים: · חיסכון באנרגיה · איכות הסביבה ומחזור · תרומה לקהילה

| אודליה שלו, מנהלת אחריות תאגידית (CSR) מספרת: "הזכייה בפרס בדגל היופי הוא תולדה של החשיבות שאנו מייחסים לסביבה בכלל ולסביבה בת קיימא בפרט. הזרע מאמינה כי שמירה על הסביבה היא חלק מהאחריות התאגידית שלנו ובמסגרת פעילות זו, אנחנו מחפשים פרויקטים שיסייעו לנו כחברה להפחית את הוצאות האנרגיה, וטביעת הפחמן שלנו בעולם".
איציק וילוגה, מנהל אדמיניסטרציה באתר ברורים מוסיף כי "השנה התמודד ואף זכה אתר ברורים בתחרות דגל היופי בנוסף לתחרות 5 הכוכבים מול מתחרים מובילים וראויים במשק. אנו ב"הזרע" פועלים בשני האתרים בנושא איכות הסביבה והתרומה לקהילה באופן תמידי וכתפישת עולם, והטיפוח מתבצע בשגרה כחלק מהמשימות והיעדים התפעוליים הכוללים בנוסף: מחזור ובטיחות, התייעלות אנרגטית, נראות פנימית וחיצונית ורווחה לעובדים". אורן אגוזי, מנהל מפעל הזרע בשדרות: "מעבר להיבטים הסביבתיים והחברתיים החשובים, הזכייה למעשה מכירה בעבודה שלנו במפעל לשיפור מתמיד של התנאים והבטיחות במקום העבודה למען רווחת עובדינו. וכמובן ניתן לראות שגם השקעתנו במראהו וביופיו של האתר וסביבתו תורמים לסביבת עבודה נעימה ומחזקת".
אנחנו שמחים לספר לכם על הזכייה הזו, אך עוד יותר גאים בדגש שחברת הזרע שמה על קיימות, מחזור, ותרומה לקהילה. כחלק מתעשיית החקלאות, אנחנו מרגישים כי לפעול בתחום הנושא הסביבתי הוא חלק אסטרטגי וחשוב בעשייה שלנו, אשר משפיע עלינו ישירות בעבודתנו היומית, ונמשיך לפעול למען הסביבה והקהילה בה אנחנו יושבים.
1st Place is Beautiful The Berurim and Sderot plant won the “Beautiful Industry” competition for 2023 in Israel
On Thursday, February 16, 2023, a ceremony was held at the "Council House for Beautiful Israel. The ceremony which was held for the 42nd year, summed up the competition for a beautiful and sustainable industry in Israel, in which star signs and certificates were awarded in the areas of quality of life and the environment to outstanding enterprises and companies. The purpose of the competition is to improve the working environment for workers in the Israeli industry and the outlook of factories on the environment and sustainability in the areas where they operate. In addition, the enterprises are also ranked according to the community activity they carry out. About 140 factories and industrial parks from all over the country participated in the competition, working throughout the year to meet the criteria.
We are proud to inform you that both the Berurim site and the plant in Sderot have been recognized in the 5-star competition.
The Berurim site has also won the competition of the Beauty Flag. In this competition we’re being recognized with 3 important topics: · Energy and resources saving · Environmental awareness and recycling · Contribution to the community

Itzik Viloga, the administration manager of the Berurim site adds that "This year Berurim site contested and won the "Beauty flag competition in addition to the 5-star competition against leading and worthy competitors in the industry. We at "Hazera" work on both sites regarding our impact onthe environment and contribute to the community on a daily basis as a concept. Additionally, our breeding routines also take into account the tasks and operational goals which include: Circulation and safety, energy efficiency, internal and external visibility and employee well-being."
Oren Egozi, Plant Manager in Sderot: "Beyond the important environmental and social aspects, this national recognition is also acknowledging our work for continuous improvement of the working terms and safety in the workplace for the benefit of all our employees and contractors as well as our investment in our workplace visibility and its surrounding – inside and outside."
